Ian’s reputation precedes him and he has received critical acclaim from leading names in the entertainment world as well as from the press. His performance was recently enjoyed by the media tycoon Max Clifford who once represented Frank Sinatra himself.
Ian has also appeared at a Corporate event in Portugal for the late Sir Bobby Robson. Bobby was knocked out by Ian’s performance and told him ‘Ol’ Blue Eyes is definitely back…you sang great!’
The Stage magazine described Ian as ‘Best bet for Britain’s next number one balladeer and was hailed ‘An enthusiastic new talent’ by Music Week.
Frank Sinatra was a great admirer of the English singer Matt Monro and Ian is one of the few performers in Great Britain performing a Matt Monro Tribute. Another great accolade came after appearing with the late great Bob Monkhouse who described him as ‘A great singer and a terrific guy!’.
