1. What requirements do you have in terms of space, equipment etc?
  2. A 6ft trestle table and power point nearby will usually suffice to hold the PA equipment that Ian uses so an allowance of approximately 10 feet ensures that there is room for the speakers too. Ian has a large collection of Sinatra memorabilia, including pictures, original framed photographs and discs that he can use to dress the room if you so wish. If you book Ian with a trio, quartet or the full big band we will advise you of the extra requirements.

  1. For how many hours do you perform?
  2. The Classic Sinatra show is usually around 2 x 45 minute sets but is completely dictated by the clients needs and can be anything from 1 hour to 2 ½ hours and many different styles of music can be included.

  1. How much time is needed for setting up?
  2. We like to allow plenty of time for the equipment to be set up before your guests arrive and will usually arrive approximately 2 hours before the performance and be set up an hour beforehand. As every event and client has different requirements we liaise closely with you beforehand to ensure that the timings are the most suitable for you.

  1. Do you perform different styles of music?
  2. Although Ian particularly specialises in the songs from the Rat Pack and other greats from that era such as Nat King Cole, Matt Monro, Tony Bennett, Bobby Darin, Tom Jones and Andy Williams, he has a repertoire of over 2000 songs. The music genres are considerable and soul, pop, party songs and even dance music can be included at your request as well as background music between sets. We cater for all your musical needs and can also provide DJs, choirs, bands, any tribute artists and outstanding professional soloists from the National Opera Company and West End productions and first class musicians in all styles.

  1. How far do you travel?
  2. We are based in the south-east of England but Ian performs all over the country and many places worldwide.

  1. What about insurance and health and safety requirements?
  2. We have Public Liability Insurance and all our equipment used in the show is PAT tested. Copies of our certificates can be provided at your request.

  1. How much will it cost to book Ian to perform?
  2. At Classic Sinatra our service is truly bespoke and each event is tailored specifically to the client. This makes us almost unique in that each show is individually arranged around the client’s requirements and therefore it’s very difficult to give guide prices. We are very happy to give you a written quote which is all inclusive and has no hidden costs whenever you require one, and we guarantee to keep our quote as competitive and affordable as possible.
